Field Hockey
Known simply as “Hockey” in Europe, it’s time for this amazing sport to be introduced to American audiences. This one-of-a-kind facility is the proud home of Phoenix Hockey Club – a youth sports group dedicated to introducing the sport to everyone in the Valley – from kids to competitive adults.
The MG SportPlex hockey facility will include 1 Championship Field of regulation size, along with 2 Practice Fields. Dormitories are also available for visiting team accommodations.
Basketball
Our anchor tenant is a progressive group of basketball enthusiasts set to build an incredible indoor basketball training facility on the Northeast corner of the MG SportsPlex property. Their mission is to provide NBA-style technologies, coaching and playing opportunities to young players aspiring to play high school and college ball.
The climate-controlled indoor facility will contain at least 8 basketball courts, food and beverage, locker rooms, fitness facilities, and performance tracking technology to help players dial up their game.
Home of the Phoenix Hockey Club
Open to all players, PHC offers opportunities for kids to learn a wonderful new sport and meet friends. The club also has programming designed for more experienced players, adults and competitive teams. We invite you to learn more about the club and to try an amazing sport you may not have ever seen before!

The costs and pressures around youth sports have gotten out control in recent years. We understand that not everyone is striving for elite level competitive play…and some kids are watching their friends play sports that their families simply can’t afford.
Professional Field Hockey Tournaments
As part of our mission to introduce the sport of field hockey to Arizona, we’ve organized a showcase tournament on the future site of our Sports Complex in Glendale. Witness the speed and skill of some of the greatest teams from all around the world…in the beautiful sport that is Field Hockey!
